multiplayer games, I keep getting kicked out of games I try to join

Everytime I join a game I keep getting kicked out, sometimes even before I get the chance to choose which civ I want to play as.
What reasons can it be?

Join ffa games not the others. Don't join the grey ones either.

thank you. I just recently managed to join 2 games, lost pretty early in one and the other playrs quit the other game. But been kicked out in many games, and have no clue why

Pub lobbies are the wild west. Not a very good experience in general, like I said in my other post come play games at Civplayers https://discord.gg/ubwTNdd
