Multiplayer Issues with Mod

I apologize ahead of time if this has been answered or gone into depth otherwise, the only thing I can find on Mods and multiplayer is a guide on finding out of sync issues that also describes how multiplayer works.

The problem is the game won't show up in the lobby at all.

We are using Evolve and playing over lan. Vanilla Civ and other mods work fine. My friend is however running Windows 8 and I am running Windows 7, but the path directory should be the same (if it isn't... :suicide: ).

I have also resent it to him, gotten my own mod back out of where I zipped it and replaced the mod on my computer with it to insure there were no compression issues or file corruption, and it just won't show up in the lobby at all. It plays fine on both computers otherwise.

Any assistance or suggestions on what might be wrong will be greatly appreciated.

which mod did you try?

use direct ip also.

Thank you, the issue was an Out of Sync immediately that may have kept us from connecting anyway other than directly.

The mods we used to make sure there wasn't another issue was Final Frontier and Realism Invictus. Both worked fine.
