Multiplayer LAN Drop-out

Hi everybody

I'm having a multiplayer problem. I can start a new LAN multiplayer game without issues and play the game without problems.

However, when I come to load my savegame and continue the LAN game on two PC's, they both connect fine until the next turn is finished on both computers. Then the one computer gets the 'Waiting For XXXX To Join'. I wait for a while and the connection is lost.

This occurs mainly when the game is quite advanced. About 1800's from a 4000BC start.

Could anybody give me some ideas on how to resolve this please?
