My friends and I are trying to load multiplayer saves in the Gods and Kings expansion, but when I launch the game the following happens:
1. The game hangs at the background for around 15-25 seconds before proceeding to the actual loading screen.
2. As soon as the game finishes loading, the game says all other players have disconnected.
For the other players, the game hangs at the background and the loading screen never appears, forcing them to terminate the program and restart the game.
This issue appears to happen on all save games.
Both myself and the other players can host games and join each other's games as long as they are not save games.
I can provide any other information necessary on request.

This is a thread I recently opened for support on the 2K website, but I figured I'd see if any of you guys knew what was going wrong here. I can post any more info if you guys need it, and I'd really appreciate any kind of help, thanks!
