multiplayer woes, please help

It's been awhile since I've played civ4, but the last time I played I thought I was able to play multiplayer online. I've done everything I can think of to get it to work, but without luck. I've attached the error (timeout.jpg), my router config (router.jpg), dxdiag, and msinfo. I've also disabled windows firewall to try and free up whatever is blocking the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked everything with the host is ok? that message generally appears in my games when the hosts server has gone down.

Tried that, and no one can connect or sometimes even see the games that I host.

hi. there!

...i got a bad problem with civIV graphics.... at all maps (in-game or user created---huge compliment to den creators!! ) the game does not show terrain... just some woods and the figures... anything else is black... i just can "turn the lights on", when i would use the worldbuilder - but thats not very exciting, as ya know .......... maybe anyone can answer me, and tell me how to fix it........ ACH JA!! i nearly forgot, that downloaded maps (such like EUROPE, or THE WORLD) don´t even work at all....theres a message then, that says: "cannot find world builder for blablabla-map" etc.... ---- jau, thats it for me for the moment...... THANX IN ADVANCE FOR YA HELP and have fun playing --- rockereins.........
