Several question if anyone could answer please (For the Playstation version)

1) Is there an end year?

2) Is there is an end year can you continue on?

3) I am learning this game al over, having a blast, but here goes: I built maybe 15 cities and wrote down what each city supply was and also what the demand was. Then many years/turns later was building caravans and two issues arose, the [FIRST] was the supply/demand had changed and [SECOND] I noticed a parentheses around some of the goods like this: Silk_(Clothe)_ (Gems)

Disregard the underline, it was to keep words seperated.

What signifigance does this have,if any?

Thanks for any help, I can allway count on th experts here!

I play the PC version, but I can tell you the answer to question 3, at least as it relates to my version.

The parentheses indicate that the commodity is involved in a trade route (or, on the supply side, has been used for a caravan). So if you delivered Gems to a city that demands Gems, it will change the demand to (Gems) and will also likely choose a commodity from the supply list to "send back" to the original city. So you want to try to build caravans before cities receive deliveries.

If a city is involved in more than 3 trade routes, then sometimes commodities don't get blocked. Also, Hides never gets blocked. As time progresses, you can get new unblocked goods in supply and demand, if the city calculates new commodities for supply and demand.
