I just downloaded v33 and played a couple of rounds. somehow i forgot to check multiple productions in the option menu. i checked and somehow it wasn't available at all, have you taken it out or is another building needed for multiple productions? Is my version installed in the wrong way? what can i do to fix it? the last version i played is v22 and a lot of time has passed since then... without multiple production it is kinda useless to play...

(hope this is the right place to post it :D )

first found a workaround, starting a normal game first not custom. on second thought i found that several other options weren't displayed either... such as multiple research, parks (made the mistake on changing up the language to german), expanded castles... please hep me :)

:lol:

These are enabled by default, look at list of mods, thats always show up on starting new game.

I just started a custom game right now and i have these offered or defaulted.

no i meant something else, if you never start a "normal" game these options won't be enabled by default, say if you freshly installed civ4 and c2c and start a custom game, these options won't show or be enabled...

Thats what i am saying, YES it does show up. That is a Normal Custom game??

these are defaults

Code:
<GameOptionInfo>
			<Type>GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_PRODUCTION</Type>
			<Description>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_PRODUCTION</Description>
			<Help>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_PRODUCTION_HELP</Help>
			[B]<bDefault>1</bDefault>[/B]
			<bVisible>0</bVisible>
		</GameOptionInfo>
		<GameOptionInfo>
			<Type>GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_RESEARCH</Type>
			<Description>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_RESEARCH</Description>
			<Help>TXT_KEY_GAMEOPTION_MULTIPLE_RESEARCH_HELP</Help>
			[B]<bDefault>1</bDefault>[/B]
			<bVisible>0</bVisible>
		</GameOptionInfo>

They will show up no matter what kind of game you play. Show me your ingame settings screenie.

it seems my english has gotten a hell of a lot worse,sorry about that... upon installing civ and c2c from scratch, i started a custom game. in this custom game 4 options weren't enabled or even listed, neither in the overview window after starting a game, nor in the game option menu when starting it, i checked the option menu too, nothing there either. hence i panicked and reinstalled it all, i don't have said game on my disk anymore... doesn't matter, after starting a normal "play now" game all options were indeed enabled by default. just to see if it was all correct now, i started 5 games. now everything seem to be working.

Yeah, when switching versions where the game options are modified in the mod (added, removed etc) it is often mandatory to start one Play Now to reset to default settings. After that Custom Games should work with the new set of game options. This behaviour can also occur when switching between mods.

Which is why you should create a CivilizationIVC2C.ini file that a desktop shortcut calls. Theres instructions on how to do that in FAQ or other begining thread.
