I got to play in the concerts in York and Harrogate preceding the one in London where Sogno di Volare was premiered. So I also got to meet - and play under the baton of - Christopher Tin who told me he only had 3 weeks to write it! Not bad for 3 weeks work!

Sadly I didn't get to play Sogno di Volare, or get a preview of it. One of the singers told me they had TOP SECRET plastered all over their parts!

Love the Copland inspired American theme.

Copland's Our Town was really perfect for America in Civ 5 and it looks like they just followed that into Civ 6.

Funny that the theme is basically what we've been hearing in the Civ previews all along.

It's actually based on Hard Times Come Again No More.

Indeed, but there is an unmistakable influence of Copland in there. Our Town was a very memorable part of Civ V's soundtrack, but it was ambient music rather than Washington's theme, which was based on America the Beautiful.

Some really epic music in the American and Japan samples. The main reason I pre-ordered the deluxe edition was to get the soundtrack...looking forward to hearing the rest.

I don't know why but I have that strange feeling that I'll be really disappointed by Civ's VI soundtrack. I am afraid there won't be many "neutral" tracks and it will just change between different Civ's themes. I hope I'm wrong.

Just read from wiki that the theme song for Chinese will be "Mo Li Hua" (The Jasmine Flower) and got really excited. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mo_Li_Hua

From the samples I have heard, I think the music sounds amazing. The first thing I'm going to do is to check the game folder and listen to the soundtrack before I start playing the game.

Don't get me wrong, I agree, samples are amazing but soundtrack is always REALLY important to me and every single time I am afraid it won't be good enough. I am wondering if they'll upload it on YT before launch like they did with Beyond Earth's soundtrack.
