music problem

Just installed Civ iv and the most recent patch and everything works fine except for the music. The sound effects work and the music in the opening and menu screens work, but there is no music during the actual game play. Any ideas?

I assume you have actually played long enough to get into the eras where the music starts playing?

Good question.

The music doesnt start right away after you start a game. Play for abit and you should be fine. If you have the sound effects, etc once there is music to play, the game should play it.
