My boats are going the wrong way

Help me please on Civ 2 when I tell my boats to go in one direction they go the wrong way and i cant get them to move where I want them to. Can anybody help please?

Help me please on Civ 2 when I tell my boats to go in one direction they go the wrong way and i cant get them to move where I want them to. Can anybody help please?

It is a known bug.

They won't cross the international dateline and either won't move or go the long way round the world. Best thing is to point them to one square this side of the dateline and then manually move them over and then point them to the destination.
