Started a new game yesterday: America, Marathon speed, Huge Map, Fractal. Something happened that has never happen to me before, I am alone on a medium plot of land just me and two city states (maritime, and mercantile). I have access to many sources of fur, two gold and two dyes and one city state has access to spice.
So Far I have build one city with a second coming. Built The great library and Parthanon in my capital. With access to a trireme I have access to a third city state (maritime) on a tiny Island with access to spice and hourses.
not really stuck but am curious where to go from here. Can you take cities with only access to streams? America for Isolated starts seems to be a mixed blessing, you can not make much use of your sight early on. how ever your unece units are latter game so you can use them against other civs. Anything I to to be carefull about? traps I should avoid falling into?
