I'm going for my First Prince game, I think I'm educated enough on CIV to go for this.
aka doing very well on noble. First, could you help me pick my world civilization leader and strategy. second, please check in with this thread often as I will need your help.
Third,REPLY QUICKLY AS I CAN BARELY WAIT TO GET STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Also:this is all requested, don't post if you don't want to. Just, if you are going to post, post quickly as I am exited!!!!!

I just started my first Monarch game a day or two ago as Asoka of India. I'm doing very well so far. Leading in score by about 300 points and it's almost 1000AD. Asoka is great for warmongering because the organized trait lets you keep a large empire. The UU also lasts the whole game and is very good.

You can't really go wrong with Asoka, Darius, Mehmed, Zara, Hattie or Julius Ceasar if your looking for a softened move up in difficulty level. Quite a few other leaders wil fit that description too, but these are probably the best for it.
thanks, I think i'll go with either Asoka, or hattie, with a domination victory, small, epic, continents, and daside from domination, mabye keeping my research level at full blast could help me. but ill check in post screenshots every 100 turns or so, but keep in touch because i'll be checking in soon thaks all.

I always find it better to just random and play with the hand you're dealt. Whatever the traits of your leader and the UU of your civ will dictate what type of victory you'll want to go for. You learn more losing playing the game in different ways than you do winning the game in one way.

I'm playing a game as Zara right now. I'm 500 points ahead, with a large tech lead and even larger military. My military ratio is 1.4 vs Hirohito, my main competitor, 2.7 vs Rome (Hiro's vassal), 3.1 vs Babylon (who I'm at war with), 5.2 vs the Aztecs, who are a minor civ, and 5.6 vs Lenin, who i reduced to a 3 tile island, but oddly is almost at tech parity.
