My game only came with 1 disc

Apparently I was supposed to have 2. So i can't properly install my game. Since I purcahsed this game used, is there a way the company will send me a replacement 2nd disc. I still have my serial code and everything for the game.

Some versions of the game do come on 1 disc, mine came on 1 DVD, the US version came on 2 CDs. Have you tried to install it?

They have been known to replace faulty discs, but I've not heard of them replacing a lost one.

Yeah I tried installing it and I needed to switch to disc 2 to finish installation. I bought it used at a library so I'm sure they don't know about the missing disc. Thats why I was wondering if I could still get a replacement disc for a used copy.

Contact the library. See if they have other copies they could trade with you.

I'll do that but I'm sure they don'y have one. The area where the used stuff was in was more like a garage sell in terms of avaliability. They only have 1 copy of what ever is on sale. Is there some official number that I can call or an official website where I can report a complaint. I thought this was offical but I see it's a fan site. Not that theres anything wrong with that.

I think you would have to contact take-two games who sell Civ 4 (www.take2games.com) rather than Firaxis (www.firaxis.com).

There should be some info on the game you bought. Telephone numbers will depend where in the the world you are.

Considering this is for a lost not a faulty disc I think they are likely to charge for a replacement. Considering how cheap the game is, this may cost more than buying it new, you should raise your problem with the library.

If you get a free replacement please let us know as it will be the first time I have heard of this happening for a lost rather than faulty disc.

Sure thing Furiey. I just sent an email to Take 2 so I'm writing for their reply. How cheap is the game btw? I hve the version that was produced by 2k sports/games(?) and online I still see it being sold at 14 bucks used.

and I doubt its the cheapest source for it.
Since Take2 charges $7.50 or so to replace damaged discs I doubt you'll get it cheaper with them, since you don't actually have a damaged disc.
