Ok, so I'm guessing I have a corrupted system icon file. All of a sudden, the "my" folders' icons disappear, and are replaced with the plain folder icon. This probably happened from me messing with StyleXP (I wasn't "messing" with it... but something messed up). So, could someone tell me where the file would be, and, if you can, send me a healthy copy of the file?
I would've put this on Customize.org (professionals at this stuff), but for some reason the site is down...

And don't say, "oh, just change the icon for those in the properties." You can't do that.

Not even using the restore feature worked?

Hmmph. That seemed kind of like a Animator vs. Animation rip-off until I noticed the 2002...
My icons are still messed up, though. I thought the fact that the file was loopy was the problem because the restore didn't work. Customize.org is still down, thanks a lot crappy servers:mad:...

"My" folders have a hidden file called Desktop.ini inside them. All you need to do is to open them with a text editor and edit them

For example "My Music" has a file called Desktop.ini inside. Open it and you will see something like this:
Code:
[DeleteOnCopy]
Owner=gvbn
Personalized=13
PersonalizedName=My Music
[.ShellClassInfo]
InfoTip=@Shell32.dll,-12689
[B]IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
IconIndex=-237[/B]
The bolded part is where the icon for "My Music" is located. It's in SHELL32.dll -> Icon Group -> 237 -> 1033 (Open SHELL32.dll with Resource Hacker to see other icons)
