My Internet Blows: Help!

My internet sucks it is unbelievable. I'm on 56k and every 3 minutes my internet stops working. I'll still be connected to the internet, but it stops 'Recieving' information. The 2 little computers in my system tray will go blank except for the bottom right one. When this happens, everything stops, MSN/Opera/Games. I end up having to disconnect and then re-connect, which sucks so much for gaming. I've changed ISP's 4 times, modems 3 times and I jsut switched the phone line from my modem to my phone jack 20 mins ago, and it still happens. What the hell is going on?!

Try reinstalling the modem drivers.

Or it may be that the phone line to your house may be crap and noisy. Contact your phone company and get them to test it. Over here BT does it automatically for free on 151.
