Just move fast and raze any city that's going to cost you money.
I have to finish my games fast cos my game crashes if it has to load a full world map

Ah ha, you are my real HERO:
a) How many cities do you have when you hit the victory point?
b) How many tech still not yet research when you win?
c) Did you build on your own any wonder in that game?
d) Did you trade with AI in that game, or you just play a everybody shut up and start punching each other way?
e) Did you reload very often?

I'm not sure where you are going with this hClass.

This is a fairly easy (if fairly tedious) way to beat the AI. It doesn't understand that you are trying to win this way so it doesn't even try to stop you. I don't think it really gets the fact that you turned off the Space Race. In any case, it isn't trying a conquest back.

When I've done it I was into the future techs, had maybe 40-50 cities (I don't remeber it's been so long), built plenty of Wonders, traded regularly with the AI till I decided to take each one down and never reloaded (except when I was starting up each night). I played it as no Domination, so I didn't do razing.

I find smaller maps with Space Race on to be much more challenging as the time pressure is on you. The AI will try to win that way.
