I only skated there 3 times. And it was an increadable view!!! But the air is thin at 7500 feet. ;) It was in Squall Valley, CA when I was visiting my GrandfFather in 1997. Awesome place!!!

And yes...I did do "couples". I had 4 competitive dance partners in the 9 years and 3 other non-competitive dance partners (;)). But I was never much of a dancer and I consentrated on singles mostly. However, when properly motivated, (ie. a girl that I liked) I could become a good dancer. Tied for 3rd place at Provincals in compulsary dance. (My first ever provinical medal) and 5th in the Bronze Rhythm. But 6 months later with another partner we came 7th in both. :( Then I gave up dance again (for the second time). Then I hurt my back. And.....well. I'm sure you don't want my life story. :)

corn, great to have your life planned out, at least for a few years. :goodjob: on thinking and planning ahead. Just be ready for the inevitable detours life will throw at you. Have a plan, but plan to be flexible. (Sounds like you are).

and keep following your dreams. If you love to skate, then skate, and spray a few ice-chips at the neanderthals who would denigrate such a fine sport (not that I ever watch it, of course  )

Wel figure sports are actually realy cool.asside for figure skating ,try for ex. figure pissing.I always do it when it snows ,and people mok me too ,but i gues they can't piss a nice horsehead in the snow. They are just jalous they can't make nice figure's with there body parts (in youre case youre body ,in my case ,wel...) ,anyway ,they just can't figure it out.

That reads like one of Shadowdale's more erm, enlightened threads.

Good advice from Leo, CM. You should definitely try and make plans for the future but don't stake everything on them - you can easily become disappointed that way. If one of your dreams begins to look impossible then don't despair - a lot of opportunity can come from what initially looks like a dead end. As long as you consider yourself to have tried your hardest then you will be a success. :goodjob: Money can't buy you love, as those hairy scouse gits once said :). (That joke makes more sense if you go to 'poly now and again)

You know what cornmaster I will never look at you the same again - the respect you have won from me :D is now gone completley - this is the way life works.
PLAN for the next 5 minutes.
Then PLAN for the next five minutes
after that have a break from planning for about a day
and then PLAN for the next five minutes

ad infinitum
