Okei.. I have made this flash movie, but i wondered: Will i get spanked for having used civ3 sounds in it?

In noone finds any good spanking-reasons, then maybe I'll find out how to post it here.. ;)

Oh, forgot to ask: Have I posted this in the right forum? Feel suprisingly free to relocate this thread if it has been incorrectly placed or anything.. Anyway, if I post my flash here it will be kinda humor related n'stuff

Where's the movie?:hmm:

Well, I posted my Flash in this forum and got no complaints, and I see any reason why you can't do the same.

If it's funny, then sure, post it. Why not? After all, this is the Humor & Jokes forum. If it's not supposed to be humourous, then you could probably post it in the Off-Topic forum.

Here ya go!

A few notes:

- Title : the touchable - juleedition 03 - the battle of santagrad ("juleedition" means "christmasedition")
- Here it is!: http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads7/det_er_jul.zip (2.26mb)
- Made all by me, except the sounds that is
- Not really that historically correct..
- Open in ie or opera or any webbrowser.. or realone player
- Has never been posted anywhere on the internet before. So this is kinda exclusive
- I'm working on a new movie
- Sorry for the delay n'stuff if anyone feels that there has been a delay
- A bit laggy.. BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE
- The Überschneemann makes a bit more sense to anyone familiar with rtcw..
- And ffs, UNZIP FIRST if you open the html.. Unless you like the white screen ofcourse. If you for some bizarre supernatural reason cant unzip, just open the swf in ie
- Additionally.. FEEDBACK IS APPRICIATED.. *hint hint*

OH, I almost forgot: I need som suiting music, and would appriciate any recommendations from you... (Yes, that was a request)

And then, a little teaser is in order, methinks

K what the heck was that. I open it then nothing pops up. Just some weird seven letter website name and a white screen.
Possible solutions:

1: Unzip it into the same directory and retry.
2: Open "det er jul.swf" in internet explorer

btw, "det er jul" means "it's christmas".. It's norwegian

I humbly apologize for any inconivience

Btw, what causes this dire lack of response?
Lazyness?
Ignorance?
Insomnia?
Global warming?
Penguins?

Should be illegal to download the thing without commenting it.. :p

Mine failed to unzip.

How strange.. I've tested it over and over again (i was bored)

and it seems to work quite well.. Are you sure you downloaded the entire file?

I just watched it, but I have no idea what the little gnome people were saying... all I understood was 'whatever' and 'da.' Hmm... sorry. Maybe try to get some people who know Norwegian (or Russian or whatever language) to watch it. The snowman's head exploding at the beginning was funny though. :)

I managed to download it, but there was no sound...

Nice movie, I liked the snow scene. Although I don't understand what was going on at all. Nice anyways.

Straaange.. It's just a font that's meant to give it a "russian" feel.. It is, actually, written in english.. Did you view it in full screen?

As for the storyline, it's basically just a battle between russians and germans at santagrad.. (hmmm... maybe it has to do with Stalingrad? who knows? :p)

As for the no-sound issue: I'm clueless.. tried d/l'ing the latest flash drivers?

Oh, and as for me liking to brag about my flashes and needs a place to share my just-begun flash (PLEASE, don't fool yerselves into beliewing this is the finished thing, it only got 2 scenes atm n'stuff.. but anyway):

Russian font? Actually in English? What? I swear, when I saw it, it was in another language and using a regular font... Hmmm... let me see it again...
I never viewed it in full screen though. I used a link... I think I might've done something wrong...
