my mod isn't load up.... :(

hi everyone,

i hope it is not the wrong forum, but, i created a civ (Bretagne, by the way), basically i download an existing new civ, and check if i have change every files needed...

i launch civIV, go to advanced, downloads a mod, choose my mod, OK, the game restart, ok, and then, there is no way to play with my new civ...

Do you have any idea why?

I've already check the permission to the civ be played, so it isn't coming from that....

Since I'm at work (and supposedly working ) I can't go through my files to completely help you. I would suggest going to the Netherlands Mod discussion in the Completed Modpacks to where Tremo and I were discussing this same problem.

Additionally I would download Jecrell's Carthage mod and alter it to create yours since his works perfectly and has all of the correct files and added text.

there is one file of difference (the Civ4diplomacyinfos.xml in game interface) plus the fact that my mod is in mydocuments/mygames/.... and Carthage is directly in Program files/Firaxisgames/...

i'm gonna add the file and move it to program files....

I'm almost 100% sure you need it in the Civ4\Mods directory to load as a Mod. There is also that 1 major file that tells your mod what text to draw from. I don't think it's the diplomacy one, however. Let us know how you make out after moving it.

Ok, now it load up!!!!

well ther is something that i've done who made it and i know what!!!

the folder tree much be like this:

Civilisation4/Mods/netherlands/Asset/Xml


I forgot the asset folder and xml was directly in the netherlands folder (i said netherlands so you understand better for you)

no i have another problem, when you choose en character, there is some problem because of the accent i think, so i will try to change that....
