When I read the game league rank, the feature I like is that the player can conment on their games when report/confirm.
Since I got my civ2 gold, most of my MPG was CF ladder game. Just like to write something for fun.
Ladder game 1
map 12. King 2x2x, no bribe, no wonder.
It was 2nd MP game, and 1st ladder game.
I chosed persia, and picked a general tech which is used when I play deity 1x. Got Mapmaking, then head for Monarchy, and Knight. Meanwhile I explored a lot, but just figured that the opponent is just too far to be reached soon. And I was lagged in city number and powergraph. I had to turn back and dicover REpublic and try to boost my population by WLOCD. But still, I had lost several hundred years' time. Woke began to attack with cats and frigates. I lost several cities, then I won one back and get Magnetism, and began to build frigates. The major war happened arround my coastal capital. My vet pikemen means nothing to woke's frigates, but I also fight back next turn with my frigates. It go forth and back ward for several turns. He did not take more of my cities. But my development was lagged. I gave up at last.
Conclusion: in King 2x2x, republic rules.
