Hi,
I've been playing around with adding techs to the tech tree. Mainly these are unique techs which are only available to the relevant civilisation. Each time I added a tech I would test the game to see if everything was ok.
After a while of doing this successfully Mining started coming up as already researched for all civilisations regardless of if I had changed anything for that civ or not.
I moved CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml and CIV4TechInfos.xml over to custom assists and disabled all mods and the problem disappeared. I have also been playing around with a few of the other xml files and have used TheLopez's Great Doctor Mod as the starting point.
So my question is what other files determine which techs a civ starts with that I might have stuffed up? I have searched through all the modifications I have made and cant see anything.
Any help with this puzzling problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
