I'm trying to make one as we speak, but it's my first, so I'm not sure how it's going to turn out...I'm having diffuculty with the rivers and such. So it might take some time. Hopefully someone else will beat me to it!

Well, here it is...a map of northern europe. You'll have to excuse me, I am REALLY new at all this, so I'm not sure how to post the mini map.
a few comments:
I hope this okay for a begining map, but it's in need of much improvement
. All the land forms are correct, but the forest, mountian and hill placement leaves much to be desired. Anyhow, it's a start. PLEASE update this map and reupload it, I know there are very many talented map makers out there and I would love to see what you can do with this when you have the time.

EDIT: Sorry, can't play the map!!! scenario is recognized but choosing a leader/country is not possible (apparantly)

Screenshot comming...sorry, I'm at work so I don't have the game on me now. As for the gameplay, I have no idea how to place civs. It should open...it does for me, but I'm not able to choose my civ either. Anyone who has the knowledge to do these things please do so and upload it back here. THanks!

No offense, but this map is incomplete. There are no rivers, resources or goody huts.
If you could fix those then I'll give this map five stars.
OK, I'll did some hardwork myself and put some stuff in.
WARNING!!!! This will require superciv mod to work, since there are few civs that don't exist in vanilla. You can get it from these forums.
This is not "real" by means of river placements and other issues, if you want realism you must do it yourself.
Same goes with balancing issues, and don't complain about forests in mountains. If they are problem then open builder and remove them.
It should work with 1.52 patch, atleast it works for me.
