I've never played Civ III on the nets before, actually I've never played any game on the nets before. But now I decided I'd try to play Conquests on the net, but I have troubles getting started. If I choose Game Spy Arcade from the start menu, I just get this page up where they want me to subscribe. And I'm not gonna pay any money! (Wait a minute, is there even a free version at all?) But then when I double click the Game Spy icon on the desktop, I seem to get the right thing up. But first it wants me to install the latest updates, so I click "yes". But then the program just shuts down. What should I do? I looked up the FAQ about multiplayer where it said that I should first check if I have a firewall. But I have Vista, so the steps described there doesn't apply to this computer. Next I clicked the link there was to the Game Spy webpage. Somewhere there it said that I should click the help button to get help by a living person, but there is no help button there!! *sigh* So I wonder if anyone can help me get started, and maybe even play a game with me?
