Yep its a slow process. i spoke to Al for the first time in ages today, hes in Florida and has next to no free time because hes swamped with paperwork because of the move. i should only expect him to be back in full swing at the earliest by late august, and thats assuming everything goes smoothly his end 
so in the mean time, thanks for being patient with us everyone, theres not a lot i can do without his input design wise and i can't code so thats blocked to me too. however if anyone has ideas or sees any usefull mod comps we could incorporate please feel free to say so! the more input the better!

Well I can't help with any of those things but I can say that I am really excited about what's in the making. Just the fact that Alzara made an entire website about this proves that he is dedicated and has a long-term plan. Keep on going!!!
I'm sure that I am pointing out the obvious, but have you tried contacting the remnants of the Fall from Heaven team for assistance? Or any of the still active members in the Fall further, Orbis, and Rise from Erebus teams?
I played civilization 4 purely for the fantasy mods, and am very interested in your mod. Sadly, I can't help in any way (I doubt that you could be helped by detection of neurotoxins). Good luck with your move, and I hope that this project reaches fruition. Also, welcome to Florida. Yes, it is like living in a sauna

welcome to CFC Genesist 
there are a few people from the FfH team and FfH mods which are following us but they have other things to do than help other peoples mods. im pretty certain some of them would be working on their own mods

Hey all!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been sorting out my eventual move to Florida. Will be at the end of the month when I actually move. Thank you all for your patience!
I should now have lots more free time to get back into the swing of things
Hehe yeah I have a long-term plan. I want to one day write some books about my world, but am presently building the lore "foundations" to help with this future endeavour! This does ofc mean that the mod means a lot to me too, so you all needn't worry about me giving up
I'm glad you are excited about this Chrome-Rome. I'm excited myself
I'm guessing those modders are pretty busy themselves. I may ask for assistance in the future, but ofc the mod is still in the early stages atm
Also, some of Naeralith's content is very adult-oriented (and graphically shown as such), so I'm always a little wary about who to enlist to help. Not knowing peoples ages or squeamishness means I need to tread carefully
Also, ty for welcoming me to Florida... it is indeed a sauna

I'm very excited about this mod as well. I love fantasy mods, and this one sounds like it will be excellent! Glad you're back, Al! I've been "lurking" as I've watched this mod develop, and I can't wait to try it out!
I'm jumping on this bandwagon, too. Always loved fantasy mods.
My favourite units are dragons and griffons, I hope they are going to be in, or sort of.
Hehe, well dragons are pretty impressive creatures. Nakuula are like Wyvans... not quite dragons tho. There will be other impressive creatures u may appreciate tho
Oh and if you like Griffins, you'll love Wyawks I'm sure

Yeh because Al has designed this world from scratch and has also created an entirely new ecosystem (i helped with the biological side of things
) i doubt there will be dragons or griffons as you know them. there are of course new beasites of equally epic proportions and nastiness (the Nakuula and Wyawks as Al mentioned) My girlfriend is in the process of designing what these creatures actually look like at the moment so im sure we will be releaseing teasers in the future Yeh because Al has designed this world from scratch and has also created an entirely new ecosystem (i helped with the biological side of things
Yeah I'm quite proud of my ecosystem... I quite like phylogenetics

I'm doomed as ever to be compared with FfH lol.
My computer is on a ship somewhere sailing for the US... I decided to race it lol
I will be arriving myself next week and will be able to begin coding
For now I'm doing a little writing to finish off Athesia since I only have sporadic access to the internet

Work can now resume. There will be a big website update soon with a new design.
