Named deserts and mountains

I’ll say it again, I love the new named feature system. However, I’ve yet to see any named mountain ranges or deserts after about 10 or so games. Is this consistent with anyone else’s experience? I am seeing named rivers, volcanoes, natural wonders, and national parks.

You can toggle off individual geographical label types. You may have accidentally done that. The label options are on the minimap window.

Mine was toggled off by default the first time I played GS, I had to turn it on. Maybe that's the case here as well.

Took me about five minutes of playing Gathering Storm to notice that I wasn't seeing any named mountain ranges or deserts, immediately look for a setting in the map options, and find that they're toggled off by default. Try to be a little resourceful.

It's possible they are toggled by a hot key you may have hit accidentally. I haven't checked which one that may be. I only know G for grid and Y for yields.

I just love seeing the Mojave desert in the game.
