Nationality bug?

After I end my turn and get to watch the AI civs fighting each other, for some reason the nationality of the fighting units is no longer displayed. This means I sometimes cannot work out who's doing the fighting that is displayed.

Is it supposed to be this way or is it some kind of bug?

Its a bit of an annoying bug, I see it from time to time as well. Not even sure if Firaxis is aware of this problem tbh.
A reload however will fix this.

Quick combat fixes it too.
