I haven't ever seen these wonders spawn once in the game, except Valley of Flowers once. I believe these are all bugged.

To test this, I loaded up multiple games and used the console to reveal the entire map while enabling all 12 of the wonders to spawn at once. Every single time, Iguazu Falls, Gullfoss, and Valley of Flowers failed to spawn.

I was just thinking the same thing. I talked to a friend and they said they saw Valley of Flowers but apart from that barely anything at all.

I genuinely thought there were only 7 wonders in the game until I just now decided to check the wiki and discovered there were so many more...

I honestly think there is something severely wrong with the map scripts. I've never seen any waterfalls either, and I wouldn't be surprised if Iguazu needs to have some sort of prerequisite to be able to be placed.

I've definitely seen waterfalls. Haven't seen any of the mentioned wonders though.

Geniunely, I didn't know they were in the game until I saw your screenshot. That's why I mentioned it all. Which I saw anything close as gorgeous to your map.

It's also a matter of angling the camera right. And maybe having an eye for it? I don't know if I do in the first place, though.

As for waterfalls, they spawn whenever a river goes down a cliff. I remember I first saw one in some early promotional material, possibly even the first batch of in-game footage we got.

I've seen valley of flowers. But yes, natural wonders seem to feel exceedingly rare. I wonder if it's the scope of the map. I checked and Civ 6 and Civ 7 both place five natural wonders on the standard size map. So, they are out there.

As for certain wonders not existing, maybe they require very specific set of terrain combinations.

In my testing, I rolled 10 Standard maps that had all 12 wonders enabled and didn’t see any 3 of these wonders once.

It’s good to hear confirmation that all 3 at least seem possible, but potentially overly restrictive placement functions that outright prevent placement still seem like a bug. This wasn’t ever an issue in Civ 6.

I've barely had mountains and cliffs in my game.. Had roll 11 times yesterday as Pachacuti to get a starting position that wasn't just flat land...

I'm at 85 hours and I've seen all 3. Though probably only once each - I dunno, I don't keep track of them unless they're really close by. I've put cities on all 3.

I've gotten all three. Gullfoss several times. Igazu and Valley of Flowers once each.

Comparatively I've seen the grand canyon a ton for example.

I wonder if there are restrictions of specific terrain for natural wonders that make some more common than others.

I have seen Valley of Flowers once, never seen Iguazu Falls or Gullfoss.

- 0n probably close to 30 games started at least in Antiquity Age (some played only a few turns) I have seen Valley of Flowers and Iquazu Falls several times (no more than 2 - 3 each) but never Guilfoss. These maps were all Standard size.
