@Thal, thankyou! I just wanted some practice doing illustration from scratch, instead of just getting an image off google and applying filters - which is pretty much what Firaxis did for many icons

I think it's possible with our current modding tools, but I have not experimented to confirm that yet. After all, there's already a melee ship in the game, the Carrier (limited by a 'defense only' attribute).
