NC CLXXXI - Suleiman - Ottoman Empire

@ym123 The direct answer to your question would be: you walk your army 14 turns... However that's not necessarily the best course of action. You have plenty of good land to settle and could maybe tech up a bit for a greater advantage before you attack. Looks like you have mainly chariots. I doubt they're very relevant anymore by the time you get to the enemy.

If your goal is conquest/domination, you should send out exploring workboats in both directions to go around your landmass. I haven't played this map, don't know what it looks like, but fractal is often divided into several landmasses that are close enough to reach by galleys. For a conquest victory, you need to know if you have to tech Astro or not.

I wouldn't necessarily settle your city #1, at least not as next city. It only has one plains cow and some floodplains. City #2 and #3 look good (except I'd maybe move city #2 1W), but you want to explore the coast better to reveal all possible seafood before you make those decisions. You probably want something between city #2 and capital. 2S1W of the grass cow looks quite good. Since you have stonehenge, it's quite okay to settle with both cow and horse in second ring.

Won a Domination victory Turn 313, 1886AD (Pretty late) .
Since I played two sessions only, and didn't stop to write any thing about the second one, i'll just write a summery
Spoiler :

After 900BC i didn't really know what to do, I settled 4 new cities ( Cow+Horse city @elitetroops told me about , 1W City #2 , City #3 then City #4 ),
And Then decided to go for a space victory because of how long it takes me to transport units/reinforcements.

But The Holy Roman Empire's Score was better than mine ( AKA I want to go to war for no good reason )
So, I took most of my army and went to war with them,
But since i wasted some turns choosing between space and domination victory my swordsmen + catapults army only took 3 cities and, I had to make peace with him because he had war elephants.

After I got Macemen, I went to war with him again and vassalized him, After i took most of his cities.

After I vassalized the holy roman, I built two more settlers and settled closer to ragner.

Then healed my units, self-tech gun powder. got chemistry from lib ( and teched steel to get Canons)
and went to war with ragner vassalized him and left him with one city.

After I got rifling, i upgraded most of my army to riflemen, went to war with ghandi and took most of his cities to win the game.

0BC + early moves
Spoiler :

Warrior moves 1 SE, see no reason not to SIP ... so SIP it is. Looks a bit food poor midterm, but thats not a problem for now. Set research to animal husbandry for the cows, and then expect to go for mining while my warrior heads NE to start scouting a Northern loop.

Not a move I'd normally make, but decided that with the fast settlers and the long time it takes to farm flood plains, I'd grow to 2 and put a blocker city in to claim the flood plains and land to the north for future development. So developed the cows first and then gold while growing to size 2 then starting the settler.

I was shooting for horse archers; half way to HBR and about to commit to the rush when I but became concerned that it was turn 57 and we hadn't met anyone else yet and might be isolated. I check spy points and we're even which supports this. Not wanting to lose the tech discounts and trading, I switched the peaceful option, settled the stone and chopped out the Pyramids.

Missed the 0BC point, but here we are at 225BC.
Spoiler :

An angry Charlamange turns up at some point, but I'm happy teching and begging from my Jewish brother Hammurabi.

Planning to beeline treb's and try to vassal them both. I'm about to use my 2nd GS to bulb philosophy and deciding whether the take the jungle city for the resources, or just leave it to the other civs while I whip together an army.

Finish 1850
Spoiler :
I took out Hammurabi with trebs + maces. Straight after I bee-lined steel; told Hammi to research guilds, GE bulbed most of gunpowder and then grabbed chemistry with liberalism. Just before I got to steel Charlemange who was the leader at that point DOW'd and I spent the next few centuries in a knock down drag out war with him as he refused to vassal until I took most of his cities, hence a low tech rate and long game time. After he submitted I quickly overran Gahndi, Ragner, then William which resulted in a domination victory at 1850.

Will now have a read and see how everyone else got on!

Looks like I have not even tried this one. Completed 172, 174, 175, 176, 177, 179, 180, 182 and 183. 173 and 178 in progress and likely win. Albeit one on the island is more effort. So might as well kick off 181.

Okay I have loads of games still in progress so I might pause on this one. I do love this leader.
