need a patch to upgrade mycivilization bearing version Number : CIV 1.02 04 Mar 96

I am running a really old version of civilization II (Civ 1.02 04Mar 96) , i Would like to update it with a newer version so i can also apply MGE patches.

the question is can someone provide me with the patch or info on upgrading this version i have to a better version or gold maybe?

ok I think you want the old 2.42 original solo version patch.You can find it here.
Scroll down to Patches/Updates(near the bottom).You'll see classic 2.42.

Cedric's update is in that same list.
