I'm pretty sure you CAN'T add them ONLY to the advanced carrier. I haven't tried this but I believe you just have to check the Load box to make choppers able to load on ships. The problem is that you could load up your choppers with guys, load up your carrier with choppers, and wreak havoc on other continents! My solution would be to create a new chopper that is can't carry any units and allow that one to load.
Sure, realistically, you could load an army on an aircraft carrier, but then what would be the use of the transport ships?? The transports should be faster anyway.

an AEGIS cruiser should also be able to carry 1 'copter.
Sorry, I don't think it's possible to restrict the AEGIS to only carrying a chopper. You could make it carry 1 unit, but you could load a plane on if you wanted to... maybe in the future if Firaxis gives us a better editor.

Slower ? Them nuke-powered carriers can FLY. With modern warships, smaller is usually not faster.
Yeah you can actually waterski behind a nuke carrier... it takes awhile to get up to speed though. They also carry a crew of about 6000.
Anyway, that could be the name of the new carrier.. Nuclear Carrier.
I'm not sure about bigger ships being faster though... MAYBE nukes are faster but I'd say ONLY if they are close to the same size as a regular carrier. It really depends on how many propellant mechanisms they have...
They're DEFINATELY not as manuverable though. For this reason I'd say the Nuclear Carrier shouldn't be as fast... it's the only real drawback you can give it to make up for the increased carrying capacity.
