My french tutor ditched me today and I had to write a very short story for my class tomorrow. I was wondering if there are any french speaking members here who can help me loosely translate the following:
======
Once upon a time, there was a princess named Melady. Her father was the king of France and was beloved by the people. One day, while walking in the forest, Melady stumbled upon a handsome young man. It was love at first sight.
However, the king soon found out about this and disapproved. He was angry because the man was not of noble blood. One day the king met with the man and asked him to leave his daughter alone.
The young man replied, "Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense. I do not mean to threaten you, simply to express how much I love your daughter."
The king was convinced and soon there was a wedding. People across France rejoiced at once and the princess and the man lived happily ever after.
======
I know, its corny, the plot is weak, and it's childish all in one.
We had to do a first draft of this in class and my teacher gave my first draft an "incomplete" so that she did not have to give my story the grade it deserved
Needless to say, I need help
