I hope someone can help me with this. I've been trying to download and play mods by downloading them directly from the in-game mod downloader. They download fine, they install fine (even in the C:\... My Games\... MODS folder, it would appear) and I am able to check the green check beside the installed ones that I would like to play. The only thing is that when I go into game setup, the mods are nowhere to be found. I've tried looking everywhere, even though I've been told that they should appear in the Map Type menu. I've tried both the Mod Game-Setup and the regular Game-Setup.
One mod did appear once but it was red and bore the hover message of "Invalid map type" so I could not use it.
I've tried putting them in my main CIV5 folder under assets\maps\ but that didn't work.
If anyone could help me, tat would be great.
