Need help with BTS modding

I've modded with Warlords before and never had this problem. Whenever I delete a unit and unit class that isn't need for my mod (like aircraft) the mod loads just fine. However, when the map loads it crashes everytime. I can delete unique units for civs, but it seems like when I mess with unitclasses it crashes.

At first I thought it was a problem with the new events for BTS, so I deleted all events, but that didn't solve the problem. What else is new in BTS that I need to change to mod units?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
What unit did you delete ?
 
There is also a DOMAIN_AIR and UNITCOMBAT_AIR (XML\BasicInfos) i think deleting all unirs of a Domain/Combat type might make trouble
 
Oh, well. I deleted my UnitInfo and UnitclassInfo files and started over from scratch. Now I can get the map to load without crashing the game.... very strange. The error must have been in one of those 2 files, but it didn't come up on the module load. Time consuming, but at least it worked.

UPDATE: FYI... It was that Events file. I thought I had replaced that file with an empty Events file, but I had renamed the directory Event instead of Events so when loading the mod it ignored my replacement directory.

So deleting units in BTS is even trickier, with those silly Events... though it'll be fun to create my own events eventually.
