Need Help With Events

Hello. I Need help with a bug in my events file.
This is my first scenario and i dont knew what to do.
So please help me.
So if you woud like to help post your e-mail and i will
send the scenario.
Fore your help i will give you some credit in the readme
text.

If you are getting a message like this,

Error -3 in module 12 ....

File open failed: Modules.db
Most recent DOS error: 2"

then your event file is too big. You'll have to remove enough events until they fit.

It tels me that there was an error in the events file.

The size of the events file is 9kb.

Most likely a unit name difference. Check the text to make sure it doesn't try to use any units who's names are not EXACTLY like they are in the rules.txt

I often get this problem.

I Have worked hard on debuging the events file fore a long time now and it stil won't work.

So i ask agin, can some one do it fore me.

Gerry,
Please post a copy of your 'rules' and 'events' to let us have a look at it,
I am sure it is a typo or a mix up with a unit name or something.

Also make sure the names of your civs are what you called them
in events...

You'd be suprised, a single misplaced letter can derail the whole file,

Hej Gerry!

I was not able to open the .ace file. I am not fammiliar with that filetype and neither is my computer. If you are using MGE, then the @DEBUG bit doesn't work at all. I too think you probably have made a typo somewhere and have not founf it yet. I have done this a thousand times. As Curt said, one character off and the whole file ist kaput. Check and check again, and if it still doesnt work, have another check.

yes that's important your scn...
where are the Sioux ? the Russians ?
u have change the name of the civs in your scenario, u MUST change the name in the events too !

change Russians to USSR, Sioux to Nativ or Natives etc...
in your events !
