Need help With Multiplayer

Hey all,

Ive been playing Civ 4 Single Player for quite some time and wanna now try Multiplay.

This is what ive done:

1. Click Multiplayer
2. Internet Games
3. Made GameSpy ID
4. Then when i try log in the game freezes up for 2 seconds then comes back bur i don't get online.

Can someone please tell me how to get Multiplayer going so i can play!

it happens because maybe u have a firewall installed? make sure to put civ4 in allow list of that firewall if thats not the problem its because ur ID is taken or something try creating other nickname...
