Need help with the production queue

To remove something, select it on the queue and push delete.

I have no idea about saving and loading the lists, though...

To save the production que, press Q in the city view screen. To load it, press Shift-Q in the city view screen.

And using a program such as CivAssist or CRpSuites helps greatly in keeping an eye on those cities. ;)

Wish I was getting commission for all this advertising!

I just leave the option to build the last unit checked. It's generally what I want about 90% of the time anyway.

Yeah, me too. But there are times when I want to just let it go. And I have the 'Ask for build orders' checked in the preferences, so I can go into the city when it's done if I need to.

But hey, my way works for me, and your way for you! That's the beauty of Civ! :)

I do that too. really useful

What kind of programs are 'CivAssist' and 'CRpSuites' that Turner mentions? And where can I find them?

Links are in my sig. ;)

Read the threads. Basically, they load the save file, and display information from it. Both are designed to be spoiler safe, so you can use them in competitions, and that can also be disabled.

Check it out! You won't be disappointed.

Don't use the queue. Have ask for next so you can review the city status.

That's a crappy idea, you'll be pestered by build order popups every turn. Most of the time you don't need to review a city's status anyway and if you do you can access it manually.

Just have the always build the same on. If you want to change, just press Enter when that unit is active and it zooms to the city.
