Need Mod Help!!!

Im new to this whole mod downloading thing, and I just cant get them to work. I downloaded them, unzip to the mod folder of BtS, and try to play them. But it either crashes or goes to the original main menu. Im super confused!!! The mods i have tried to download are Fall from heaven, rise of mankind, Caveman2Cosomo. Thanks!

PS- If you could help me with minecraft and mount and blade warband mods, that would be fantastic.

have you updated to 3.19 (dont use ingame updater)

Not all mods are for BtS (though FFH2, RoM and C2C are)

Also some mods require Nasa supercomputer resources RoM and C2C are in that class while FFH2 requires surprisingly little ram. I did a small test* when I started out my mod to see which base I wanted to start at. It ended up with base BtS

the super computer was a joke

its just that low end computer wont run very far without MAFs (Memory Allocation Failures)
