Need some help making a small mod...

Hey.
I need a little help in making a mod for having a civ called "International Terrorist Unity" or ITU. I need somebody to make a keader head of some known terrorist leader (Any) and an animation for a terrorist gunman and a terrorist bomber. I am asking for these simply cause I don't know how to do them. Also, If somebody would be kind enough to explain to me everything about creating civs and govs that would be great.
I just really think it would be cool to have this type of civ. If anyone is interested in participating in making the mod in any way not aforementioned, or aforementioned, please contact me via posts here or ICQ (#117270057).

I'm pretty sure there's a leaderhead of George Washington in the Graphics modpacks section. If he were around today he'd be labelled a domestic terrorist by the British.

Very funny. You know what I mean, i mean a modern terrorist leader that sends people to guerilla missions...

Not really. "Terrorist" is a completely subjective term. Calling someone a "terrorist" is like calling someone "really bad." What one person considers "really bad" or "terrorist" isn't necessarily considered "really bad" or "terrorist" by someone else with different opinions. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. The war in Afghanistan is a good example of this. Back when Osama Bin Laden and other Islamic Fundamentalists were fighting the Soviets the American Gov't and US media called them freedom fighters. The Soviets called them terrorists. Of course, now that the US is fighting them the Gov't & media reffer to them as "terrorists." It's a subjective term.

There are a number of Leaderheads of modern people who are considered by some to be terrorists. Whether YOU consider them terrorists depends on what your beliefs and opinions are; since you haven't specified them I don't know what you consider terrorist. You can find leaderheads in the graphics modpacks section of:

Charles DeGaulle. He was a part of the French Resistance, sent people on guerilla missions, and was called a terrorist by the nazis.

Mullah Omar. Former ruler of the taliban who sent people on guerilla missions (he calls them "holy warriors" not terrorists).

George W. Bush. Considered by some to be a terrorist leader and has sent people on guerilla and espionage missions (he usually calls them "special ops" not terrorists).

Ayatollah Khomeini, Bill Clinton, Fidel Castro, and several other people some would consider terrorists are in the graphics modpacks area. Go browse around, I'm sure eventually you'll find a leaderhead of someone _you_ consider a terrorist.

I realize this is completely off the subject now, but I teach a college course on political violence, and I felt compelled to throw in my two cents about the last comment.

The term terrorist is not in itself subjective. It is often used subjectively by politicians and the media to label someone as bad or evil, but the term itself has a fairly precise definition. Terrorism is "violence or threatened violence, against non-combatants, with the intent to create fear, with the ultimate goal of changing the policies of a group or state."

So, in a sense you are right . . . we consider George Washington a hero, while the British would have considered him a terrorist. However, since he led military forces against other military forces, it would not fit the definition. Likewise, some may consider bin Laden a hero while others call him a terrorist -- but attacks on embassies and skyscrapers, meant to cause a change in US policy, very nicely fit the definition of terrorism.

To the person doing a mod about terrorists . . .

Stick to pictures of bin Laden, Carlos the Jackal, Ulrike Meinhoff, and I can name lots of others that fit...

Also, I'd be interested in getting a copy of it when you're done, or helping you along with some thoughts I might have...

Thanks for the support. I am actually probably NOT going to make the terrorist mod, mainly because I have no graphic capabilities. If I would get someone to make me a few UUs (such as Elite Terror Squad [being the trained criminals you see wearing black in films], the cheaper and less effective Freedom Fighter) and a nice animated leaderhead of OBL [Osama Bin Laden] I would perhaps make the mod, but if I have no graphics there isn't really much I can make in a mod...
Anyhow, if you are capable of providing graphics in any way I would be absolutely overjoyed.
