Hello. As someone who only has a mac, modding can get really frustrating. I hit so many more walls and it's just really difficult to mod without the modbuddy tool. Because of this, I was wondering if anyone was willing to work with me to create mods. I don't really mind if they're fantasy or historical. I can edit the files individually but the modbuddy is useful for putting together the .modinfo and dealing with art stuff. Is anyone willing to work with me?

Edit: I don't need to have like someone who makes mods in tandem with me. I just need someone who's willing to do the modbuddy parts of modding.

First, you have to have your mod working despite modbuddy. Modubddy is only used to build the art IMHO, of course for advanced folks they do new assets, but you can do your art, only in DDS files, do you have that?

I'm still working on art stuff. I figured out some stuff about dealing with the .modinfo and I can at least get it to show up in the game. Thanks!

I've never coded on a Mac, although I believe XSD files should be able to be parsed/handled by most modern IDEs. Essentially, an XSD is a makeup of an XML file (with rules, and definitions). So, you can utilize it to make the ModInfo part of your items, and validate your ModInfo part of your file to ensure correctness.
Depending on your editor, it won't be as user friendly as ModBuddy, but it will allow you to proceed.

I just checked it on the site and it says it's valid. Thanks for the advice!

I should be fine now so consider this thread closed.

Yeah, I HAD Bootcamp. It didn't pair well with the new update and murdered my computer so I had to delete it or I couldn't use the computer at all.
