I am considering getting a netbook as a way of having a portable means of going online. Can most Netbooks run AIM if I get one that uses Windows XP?

if AIM is all you need, you may be better off upgrading your mobile plan to include AIM or a similar service. Most carriers have an instant messaging option.

I also want to use it for web browsing on the go but I also want to be able to run AIM.
