I have recently reinstalled C4BTS on my win XP machine after a format and now find myself unable to play across my house's LAN.
I had no problems prior to reinstalling but now, after around 25 turns of LAN play, I will get an error about "Network socket has encountered an error and has been closed" at which point I am disconnected.
This happens whether or not I am hosting and doesnt seem to be triggered by anything in particular. I have no background programs running save ventrilo and am using patch 3.19.
I cant access the router as I am living in rented accomodation and, well, dont have access to the router but the router hasnt changed and did work only a few months back.
It is starting to really bug me so if anyone has any ideas or thoughts then they'd be welcome.
