I actually rather see it like FfH after their final release. The main reason FF died so quickly is people migrated to RifE.

What's the purpose of that poem?

I suppose to say that we aren't abandoning RifE? I dunno, was not involved. Or told about it.

Anyways, it won't be long until Rife team falls to the temptation of modding CiV.
In any reason, I sense RIFe will continue to be developed, but in a very slow paced manner. (Some time ago I remember somebody [...] saying that 1.31 will come some days after some changes or testing something).

Sure, it'll be a bit slower... But the main reason is after this patch we're moving to 1.4.

Civ5 has no DLL access yet, only so much you can do.
