i dont have an internet page, so i quess that the only way i could show the graphics would be to send them to someone. If anyone with an internet page is interested i can email them some characteristic terrain-city graphics-units made by me and he can post them here or somewhere

What about attaching the units or terrain gifs in zip format to one of your great posts?

Hope you don't mind that I to locked at the units.
They look OK, exept for the cavalery. It looks like it is a dokey.
(maby it is suposed to?)

Ofcourse the units are meant for all to see
and yes it is supposed to be a donkey, since its the mountain cavalry (the weak cavalry unit) and it was the "cavalry" units of the mountain groups of thieves and outlaws who were enlisted to the revolutionary army, but werent real tactical units.
There will be also a regular cavalry unit for the greeks.
By the way i know that i am not the greatest civ2 unit creator by far, but i think that they fit very nicely in the scenario, and they look like the original units of the period, run a search for "tsolias"^greek or "euzonos"^greek and you can see them

I think it is good, except it should have a “clearer line” between his head and his shoulders. They kind of melt together.

I edited the left hand, it now looks a lot better. This unit is open to editing (like the others) until the date the scenario is releashed anyway

Hello, i made a screen capture of my scenario, i am sure that you will like it! It is in the .ace file

progress report:

-edited unit Kolokotronis, now it looks a lot better

-created final nation: Epirotan Greeks, they are allied to the Vilaeti of Ioannena, until they declare war by an event

-working on some details of the map, adding a few more cities

Certainly i am waiting for your reply to the screen cap., although i am almost sure that you will love it

note: the colours are a bit messed up since i had to save the bmp at less colours so as when it was aced it wouldnt exceed the limits of attached file's size in the thread.

Hey Gerry, here is the screen

-you can also see there the new greek uni "Epanastatis" (it means Rebel) which is the weakest greek unit.

-The city "Korinthos" is Corinth (all the cities have their greek names, in latin letters)

Maby you should have a larger map. It gives more details to a scen.

i have a larger map of Greece, but i think that it will make the game very tiring. This map is about the same size as the one in DAROE. There will be around 30-40 cities i think, and in my view one doesnt really need more. Also free space is crucial. However i plan not to have roads at all (you can build roads with your units) so it still takes a lot of time to get around the map. Moreover there are stalemate places (in Thermopylae, some short strip of land between mountains and the sea) so it is even more difficult to advance in areas where the revolution didnt make it historically

however i will make my decision about the map in the future, and if i see that a bigger one is needed i will make the change
