While I see that someone has created a "tribal" civ from Brazil it is not quite what I had in mind for the one I was going to create so here are my humble (and first timer) ideas. Feedback appreciated.
Yanomami(jungle sedentary)
Spiritual & Expansive(while not actually expansive, the boost to city health reflects the fact that they thrive in the jungle and live off the land)
Hunting & Agriculture
Preferred civic: Environmentalism
UU: Worker with 'hidden' ability or 100% retreat (can these only be given when in jungle/forest?)
Alt UU: Workers have Woodsman II & Str 1 no attack
Huaorani(jungle nomadic)
Aggressive & Spiritual
Mysticism & Hunting
Preferred Civic: Decentralization
UU: Blowgun unit with Woodsman II (replaces archer)
Alt UU: Blowgun unit with 'Hidden' ability (can these only be given when in jungle/forest?)
Kogi (mountain region)
Spiritual & Philosophical
Mining & Mysticism
Preferred Civic: Hereditary Rule
UU: Shaman(workers with Medic II)
Alt UU: workers have Guerilla II & Str 1 no-attack
