New Civ Idea: Weimar Republic

So, I've been think about making this mod for a while, but I was hoping that I could get some help fleshing it out a bit.
UA: The Dawes Plan
After every Declaration of Friendship, the Weimar will receive an amount of (was thinking 300 for standard speed). The Weimar will also receive a small GPT boost. The other Civ in the DoF will receive a slightly larger GPT boost.

UB: Cabaret
Replaces the Opera House. Provides +2 , +2 and +1 . An extra +1 and +1 when great work slot is filled.

UB: Bauhaus
Replaces the University. Has the +33% , but no longer gains +2 from jungle. Provides +2 . Has one Scientist Specialist slot and one Artist Specialist slot.

UA: Goldene Zwanziger
If a peace treaty is active, the disbanding of units or sale of military buildings generates bursts of golden age points and great artist points in any one city of your choice where a great artist has already been born. During golden ages, +50% tourism in cities with gold-producing buildings.

UB: Bauhaus
Replaces university. Contains an art slot. Generates +3 great artist points, and, during golden ages, +50% tourism. Cities with a Bauhaus gain +5% culture for every ideological tenet adopted.

UU: Freikorps
Replaces Infantry. In cities where a Freikorps is garrisoned, global unhappiness is halved and +20% culture. Gain a burst of tourism in every city with a Freikorps garrisoned whenever a golden age dawns.

Thanks a lot for replying! Those ideas are gonna help me. Especially like having Bauhaus replace universities. Plus the Freikorps idea gives me an alternative ideas if I want to mix it up a bit

Huh, why doesn't the Bauhaus replace a building from a later era? All those effects seem more fitting for something unlocked in the Modern or Atomic era.

I was originally going to have it replace the public school, as to me at least it should, but it just didn't fit the Bauhaus, which is certainly a non-public university. Of course for an actual mod I'd probably replace the public school but for the design challenge it historically speaking fit better as a university.

Stresemann should be leader; Hindenburg was a awful president, and allowed Hitler to rise through the ranks. As chancellor, and then as foreign minister, he rescued Germany for a time. It was his death and the Wall Street crash which lead to chaos.

Fair enough. I'm not terribly well versed on the Weimar leadership, after all isnt it sort of renowned for being poor?

This I do disagree with however, and indeed I tried to reflect this in the mechanic.
Think Janissary, Cossack, (sort of) Musketeer, erm... Surely there's even more. But there you have it, there's several examples of UUs that maybe were rebellious

Well, it was poorly governed as a whole, but of all of the Weimar leaders, Stresseman stood out. He did more for the recovery of the economy of the German state and its international relations than any other politician of his time. Germany plunged back into chaos due to a combination of his death and the wall street crash.

True words. I would suggest Uniques that have nothing to do with military, because the Treaty of Versailes lowers the military in the Weimar Republic massivley. I guess the Cabaret or the Lichtspielhaus would fit very well as UB and a UGP like a Great Politician/Politiker.

UA: Golden Twenties
Receive culture and happiness equal to 25% of the highest tourism value exerted against your empire, increased to 50% during golden ages. Golden age point generation in cities is increased by great people generation modifiers.

UB: Gymnasium
Replaces public school. Increases great people generation by 25%, and contains a random cultural specialist slot.

UU: Freikorps
Replaces great war infantry. In addition to starting with 15 EXP, the Freikorps also generates golden age points from kills and offsets anarchy when stationed in cities.

Yes, I agree about not having a military focus foe Weimar; as you point out, Germany's military restrictions made its army essentially useless.

Again, the Friedkorps unique seems, to me at least, to be unsuitable, as it represents the worst of Weimar under Albert. Something related to Weimar culture, e.g. Cabaret would seem more appropriate, seeing as Berlin was seen by some as Europe's 'cultural capital', rivaling Paris.

Plus it's generally advisable to allow a civ at least one military unique unit.
