new Civ3PtW-Skin/interface-graphic

CCJ39: i assume you've just changed the palettes, haven't you?... humm, if so, wouldn't be better to make a programme that alteres these palettes in appropriate files automatically? look at the attachement - i'm saying about something like that. it should contain additional files with palette entries. and when the user selects a color and clicks "apply", the programme should open all interface PCXs and rewrites the palettes.
thanks to this, there would be no need to download +12MB when you want to change your i'face color. just download the programme and a file with proper palette...
if you want i can write such an util, it shouldn't take me a long time:rolleyes:... just drop me an e-mail, as this topic isn't IMHO right for this... i'll write some more infos, how do i see the programme...

ohh, and why am i so "boorish"? huh... i had the same idea of changed i'face colors about 3 months ago when i was experimenting with "hue/saturation/lightness" in PSP.. but... "not enough time" ... (this idea is "3" in my signature)

nice idea, but the problem in the interface was, to know which part in a file should be now blue and which green and which part should not changed (like the buttons)
so I've opened every file, convert to RGB, put a mask on the correct part, changed the color to values I want (not everytime the same values), convert to palette256 and save file
(sometimes add more than one mask for other buttons or else)

if I understand your idea correct, you need the palette for all files and the programm replace 1:1 the original palette of every file
I think it's a nice idea, but I'm happy to finish with this version now, I don't have time for more :( (other changes are waiting :D , at this time new territory-borders)
so if you want to create such program, have fun  , but I don't have time to create more palettes for this program as the one you can download here ;)

Ok, here is the bug I was talking to you about. So when you build a wonder - any wonder, this screen shows up to the right of the splash. ;)

ohhh, I've installed the wondersplash-mod (so the list at right, gives you information to the civ with it's properties [c=ommercial, i=industrial,...], in the wondersplashs are this letters too)

so if you don't like the list at right, I can make a list-free version ;)
