New Colonies III (v3.2) PBEM

An attack made on the warbands north of Boston. One warband destroyed, but one musketeer regiment also destroyed.

500 gold gifted to the Spanish in compensation for the loss of their Treasure Galleon..;)

We request the Spanish (and any others) clear the St Lawrence waterway for the passage of our expedition to punish the savages.....

The Confederacy suggests that France not allow British forces through your own waterway. British expansion on its southern shore cannot be in your best interests. In fact, we would consider allowing them to pass a violation of your neutrality.

Threatening them with what? It's just a fact that them letting you use their waters to attack us when they don't have to isn't neutrality.

Anyway, what's more important is that they couldn't possibly want to make British expansion in their backyard all that easier if they didn't have to.

Well, he does have canoes ;)

France will stay neutral in this conflict and will allow both English and Iroquois trading through the Saint-Lawrence river.
We have a peace treaty with both nations and we will not sacrifice that.

We kindly ask the Spanish merchantmen to clear the channel for one move as well.
Yep. No problem; i just was scouting the area.

Well you sure took your sweet time, I blame you. ;)

Food supplies of Van Den Hoop and Providence razed to ashes.

Plundering War Band destroyed outside Providence.

We did request that the St Lawrence was cleared this year, to allow our convoy to pass. Unfortunately a French ship was lying around the last bend in the River and is now blocking our forces, with no way it can move.

We trust this was an accident.

We ask the French King to disband his ship. We will make good the loss with a fine English vessel, in the same vicinity.

If the ship is not disbanded, two more years will elapse before the expedition can get under way again.
