The 'descriptions' of Jesus were all done by people who didn't even meet the guy! Hence, and church has full rights to decided whatever they want to about Jesus.

no, appernttly there were descriptions of what the "messiah" was supposed to look like in the hebrew apocrapha scriptures(consider this the stuff that was deemed unworthy of being included in the main hebrew holy text i think)
