I couldn't figure out what you meant until I noticed you are using the "Pale White" color scheme. Switch to a different scheme and you'll see the difference. The other one has a white triangle where the cutout is. The one I just posted has a transparent triangle so won't be there no matter what background color you have.

What is the great obsession with cuting bits out of our flag.

Why doesn't somebody make them to flutter in the "web wind" like before?

because we can do this anyway. no need to restrict us. the look and feel is important. if you like it fluttering, do it then. we discuss and decide the design. what you do (hand them backwards, hang them in the wind) is your part. if you like them fluttering, fionn can do this for you anyways.
